A little more about the property

Zermatt luxury self catered Penthouse Zora is a very spacious (170 sqm) penthouse on the top floor (with lift access) with an unmatched view over the Zermatt village rooftops dominated by the Matterhorn.

The ski chalet apartment is situated in the Spiss area of Zermatt at the head of the village. The train station and the Sunnegga Express base lift are both a six-minute walk away. There is a bus stop just outside the building.

Situated in Haus Jaspis close to the main street it is almost a mirror image of the adjacent Penthouse Zeus.

It sleeps 6 in 3 double bedrooms. Two bedrooms can be configured with double or twin beds whereas the third one has a fixed king size bed.

Zora combines modern luxury with an Alpine feel. All the ceilings are wooden-beamed, their sloping aspect giving a cosy feel, while their double height in the living room provides the luxury of spaciousness. The tall south-facing windows are floor to ceiling giving you a permanent panorama, both night and day, over the twinkling village and its majestic mountains.

A superbly equipped modern designer kitchen is open plan, giving onto the dining area with its big wooden table and generous seating. The large living area has a wide wood burning fireplace, sofas and armchairs. All these spaces give onto a wide south-facing balcony with unmatched views of Zermatt.

The three bedrooms have wood-beamed sloping ceilings, and are both large and cosy. One bathroom has a jacuzzi bath, shower and WC; while the other features a large shower and WC.

There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the apartment. The chalet building has also a ski-room and a laundry room.

Penthouse Zora is another guest favourite chalet which guests find hard to leave!

If rented with adjacent Penthouse Zeus, the two properties can sleep 12 guests. The Penthouse Zermatt Lodge in the neighbouring building offers a further 10 beds for a larger group.

Nous avons passé trois jours magnifiques dans ce logement. L’appartement est spacieux, très propre, bien équipé et surtout doté d’une belle vue sur le Cervin. Bon emplacement. L’accueil a été très sympathique et tout s’est déroulé parfaitement. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Mountain Exposure was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout and stay and before we even got there. For example: they picked up our ski lift tickets prior to our arrival and delivered them to the condo. They arranged for a car to take us to the train station in Lausanne at the crack of dawn and then sent someone over to help us clear out of the condo and connect with the driver.

Wonderful top-floor apartment with an amazing view. Walking distance from the train station and grocery stores. The highlight was the balcony overlooking Zermatt with a direct view of the Matterhorn. The apartment was spacious enough for 6, with comfortable furniture, nice bathrooms, and a big modern kitchen. The host was very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. Bronagh and team made our family of 6 feel very welcome from start to finish. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our view of the Matterhorn. They even provided us with some basic groceries so that we didnt have to rush to the store upon arrival We were close to Sunnega and Gornergrat for skiing. Ecaterina assisted us with dining reservations and we enjoyed all of our meals. We would definitely recommend and stay here again! Maybe bring friends and book the adjoining Zeus apartment!

Great place to stay in Zermatt, with amazing views.
The accommodations are first class: Everything is new & high end. From the living room you have an amazing view on the Matterhorn.
The whole penthouse is very spacious, and it’s equipped with everything you will need for your stay, pots, glasses and silverware you can ever use, dishwasher, etc.
The apartment is super clean & everything you see in the pictures of the listing are accurate.
The nearest supermarket is a 5 min walk away, and the city center is only 10 walking minutes away.
The communication with Bronagh & Evelin is easy and fast.
Great place for larger groups to stay.

Chalet Zora was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Zermatt and the whole team at Zora was very accommodating for us and our two small children. The chalet is comfortable, quiet, and easily accessible. Our on site manager, Richard, was extremely helpful and responsive. From booking to check out, Bronagh and the team at Chalet Zora were incredible hosts!

This is a wonderful place to stay in Zermatt! From the balcony, we get a good view of the Matterhorn. The supermarket is a couple of minutes by foot, and so is the train station! The apartment itself was spacious, with the well-equipped kitchen coming in extremely handy as we could cook for the family. The team managing the chalet were very accommodating and friendly, I would say going above and beyond what we would normally expect. Would definitely stay again!
