Mountain Exposure is delighted to offer Studio Lil, one of three well-appointed studios right in the heart of old Zermatt. The Old Mill House – Vieux Moulin – is located in the very centre of Zermatt, at the end of a quiet dead-end street, next to the church and a mountain river.

Zermatt self-catered ski studio Lil together with Chloe and Madeleine studios are on the second floor (with lift access) and are all on the same landing.

Studio Lil (23 sqm) has a wide west-facing balcony with views on a mountain stream, the Trift gorge and the Edelweiss hut. It has the largest bathroom of the three studios, which features a walk-in shower. The bed can be configured as a double or two twins. The kitchenette, with its black granite surfaces, is equipped with all you could need for your nights in. The flat screen television has 150+ channels with programmes in numerous languages including English, which you can watch from the soft, comfy chairs.

The studios are on the second floor (with lift access) and are all on the same landing. Each studio is warm and comfortable, and features beds that may be configured as twins or pushed together, a sitting and eating area, and an en suite bathroom.

The smart, modern kitchens are well equipped and there is wireless Wi-Fi in each studio. You have access to a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer in the basement.

The centre of old Zermatt is literally around the corner, with numerous shops, amenities and restaurants, while the electric ski bus stop is just around the other corner.

Although you are in the middle of this bustling resort, Studios Lil, Madeleine and Chloe sit in an oasis of calm, where the main things you will hear are bird song and the church bells. The perfect holiday spot.

Studio Lil can be booked together with  Studio Chloe and Studio Madeleine by small groups who wish to holiday together, yet have the option of privacy and their own front door, or who may have children becoming independent.

Stayed at Lil Studio from in Zermatt in Sept 2025. Great spot next to the historic church. Waking up to the bells was a treat. Could tilt my head over the balcony and see sunrise on Matterhorn. Literally next door to the Chez restaurant and a 2 minute walk from the main strip. Only issue was some noise from other residents the first night and slight smell of smoke in the room/ bedding. (Which is odd because it’s a non-smoking room). A great space i would consider again for a future stay in Zermatt.

Studio Lil was a perfect location to base our stay in Zermatt! It was very close to the Main Street with lots of restaurants and bars! It was halfway between the train station and the cable car station making it an easy access to anywhere! The balcony was perfect, with an amazing views! It was so nice to wake up in the morning and drink coffee on the balcony!

Lil studio with quaint and traditional. Had a real Switzerland vibe. Comfortable bed. Practical . Nice hot shower. Hosts were very sweet and responsive to our needs and requests. Highly recommend. Great location!!! Next to everything. So nice not to drive for 4 days.

It was the best accommodation during my 12-night stay in Switzerland. The kitchen utensils were very clean and the space was nice. The location was also great, so I could relax and rejuvenate comfortably. I’ll definitely come back again.

The accommodation is a lovely space for 2. It’s just a short walk behind the main shopping street and behind the church. The clock chimes quite frequently but it wasn’t a problem for us since we wake early for activities. The kitchen is well stocked with condiments which was quite handy. The place is very clean and all spaces are utilized effectively. I would definitely recommend staying at this Studio

The apartment is very clean and complete with everything you need. Location is very good and the view is superb. You will be greeted by a staff of Mountain Exposure assigned to be your concierge throughout your stay. Your departure will also be assisted. Such a remarkable experience to have visited Zermatt and to stay at the wonderful apartment.
