The 2015-16 season has started: With 40-60cm of fresh snow on the top slopes. There is a snow base of 150cm and 11 runs are open, including the Furggsattel chairlift, giving skiers a vertical of 1,000m to play with. The link to Cervinia will open on the weekends of October 17-18th and 24-25th; it will be permanently open as of October 31st. As usual, the early skiing conditions in Zermatt are the best in the Alps.
