A little more about the property

From mid April until the end of November, Mountain Exposure is delighted to offer The Lodge Studio 311 and The Lodge Studio 312, located in Haus The Lodge.

Situated at the entrance of Zermatt, close to the Train Station, two bus stops for the electric (ski) bus are just around the corner. 50m from the main street, there are also 2 supermarkets and restaurants within a 3 min walk. It is a 5 min walk to the village centre and to Sunnegga or Gornegrat ski lifts. Haus The Lodge has flat street and lift access.

The Lodge Studios 311 and 312 are next to each other, on the third floor (with lift access).

Both 1-room (25sqm) Studios have south-facing balconies accessed through French windows, which stream sunshine and offer an unmatched view of the Matterhorn and the village of Zermatt. 

The Sleeping/Living rooms have a large double beds (311 with with separate mattresses), and a very well equipped open kitchen with oven, fridge and a 4 ring ceran hob.

There is a dining table, a flat screen television with programmes in many languages and free wireless Wi-Fi in each studio.

In the entrance hall of each studio there are hangers for your coats and space for your boots. Next to it is the bathroom, with a shower and WC.
You can leave your skis and boots in the ski room by the entrance of the building.

The Studios are on the floor below The Zermatt Lodge, our flagship 5 star chalet and one of Zermatt’s most luxurious serviced chalets. The Zermatt Lodge has 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, so the studios can provide 2 further double-bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. There are stairs or the lift which can provide direct access to all units.

For the last three nights in Switzerland, I chose this accommodation. The kitchen is well-equipped with a lot of seasonings, and it’s about a 7-minute walk from the station. You can see the Matterhorn from the room, the bathroom has a dry and wet separation, and the bed is the most comfortable place I’ve slept during this trip. If any friends are traveling to Zermatt, I will definitely recommend this place to them!! I loved it so much ? Just a reminder to bring your own shampoo.

Clean room, good kitchen. Most importantly, a nice balcony with a beautiful view of Matterhorn. Good for anytime from breakfast, afternoon tea, or happy hour drink.

The view of the Matterhorn from the balcony or even from the bed was amazing. There’s no need to leave the unit to enjoy it. The kitchen is well-equipped with various appliances, making it easy for us to cook meals with groceries from the supermarket. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay in Zermatt! Communication was excellent even with the smaller questions/concerns. Check-in information was simple and easily followed. Would highly recommend this quiet studio just off of down town for your next excursion to this gorgeous mountain town

Brilliant apartment for a small family who don’t mind sleeping in the same room. The cot was a brilliant size with very comfy mattress on it. High chair was sturdy and exactly what we needed. There was a little length of corridor between the living area and the bathroom which was a lovely dark nook for the cot. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn and the facilities were excellent (hair dryer, oven, hob, big fridge and washer/dryers downstairs). Thank you for an excellent stay, we’d love to come back!
